JoJean Callison has been an educator for over 30 years, teaching in four different states. She is presently assistant principal at Axtell Park Middle School. For the past 17 years, she has been a middle school teacher or administrator in Sioux Falls. Her BA in ELED/SPED is from Augustana, her MEd in reading is from USF, and her EdD in educational administration is from USD – the three colleges she once swore she’d never attend! (Never say never!!) JoJean and her husband, Tom Chap, are the parents of Thomas. Away from work, she loves to read, travel, and quilt. She is looking forward to spreading the good news about middle schools through serving on the SDAMLE board.
